Queens Gurkha’s invite Crazy Colin to perform.
Crazy Colin have agreed to perform for the children and adults of the Queens Gurkha Regiment based at Catterick Garrison on Sunday the 14th Feb 2016.
Over many years this Regiment of the British Army have served our great nation in this country and abroad however it is not known my many.
The 3,500 Queens Gurkha’s in the British Army all originate from the hill-town region of Gorkha, one of the 75 districts of modern Nepal.
Some 200,000 Gurkha’s then fought in the British Army in the First and Second World Wars – in France, Flanders, Mesopotamia, Persia, Egypt, Gallipoli, Palestine, Salonika.
They also fought in the desert with Lawrence of Arabia and then across Europe and the Far East in World War II.
They have since served in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Borneo, Cyprus, the Falklands, Sierra Leone, East Timor, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Crazy Colin has also been invited to dine with them and is looking forward to trying Nepalese cuisine as food is one of his passions.
